Abstract: In Kiboga district quality grades are considered very important by the teachers and students, there is work environment in schools which can be described as encouraging and trusting, teachers actively participate in the activities of staff associations, staff members support the school values and objectives and that staff is often updated on the new developments and their progress in the school are the influences of organizational culture on teachers’ performance; The study explored the factors influencing teachers’ performance among selected public primary schools in Bukomero Sub-county, Kiboga District, Uganda. The objectives of the study were to find out the influence of principal leadership on teachers’ performance among selected public primary schools in Kiboga District, Uganda, to examine the influence of organizational culture on teachers’ performance among selected public primary schools in Kiboga District, Uganda and to assess the influence of teachers’ competence among selected public primary schools in Kiboga District, Uganda. The researcher used across sectional survey design strongly associated with qualitative and quantitative analysis where collected data was anlysed using SPSS Software. The study found out that teachers actively participate in the activities of staff associations, support school values and objectives, Teachers in Kiboga district have skills at work, are persistent in doing work, put in much effort to improve on the quality of the work and that there is work capacity efforts in schools. School Administration should ensure that there is constant supervision and renumeration to improve teachers performance.

Abstract: The study aimed at establishing the effect of financial environment on staff motivation in private secondary schools in Nansana municipality, Wakiso district. The study was guided by three objectives namely; to establish how teachers are rewarded, the effect of respective communication and the effect of head teachers’ supportive leadership behaviors on teachers’ motivation. A cross sectional survey research design was utilized. The study involved 108 respondents namely 9 Directors, 9 head teachers, 90 teachers randomly selected from 9 Schools. Data was collected using self-administered questionnaire, interview guide and documentary analysis. Data collected was compiled, sorted, and organized in frequencies and percentages.  The study findings revealed that some private secondary Schools in Wakiso district do not beautifully reward their teachers.  It was also established that some head teachers use supportive leadership styles and respectful communication in some private secondary schools. Staff motivation was established relatively low in most private schools. It was then concluded that teachers’ motivation was subject to the existing reward system.  It was concluded that respective communication and supportive head teacher’s leadership behaviors have a great contribution on teachers’ motivation. The general conclusion was that organizational financial environment strongly influences staff motivation in private secondary schools in Nansana municipality, Wakiso District.  It was then recommended that all private secondary schools should put in place better rewarding systems. It was therefore equally recommended that private secondary schools should emphasize respectful communication and supportive leadership as a strategy of getting increased teachers’ motivation.  A favorable organization financial environment was strongly recommended for private secondary schools for improved teachers’ motivation.

Abstract: The research sought to investigate on the relationship between discipline Management and pupils academic performance in Butambala district. For easy gathering of information, the study was based on three interrelated study objectives namely; to determine the effect of  school rules  and  regulation on the pupils’ academic performance in Kibibi subcounty Butambala district, to investigate how time Management affects pupils academic performance in Kibibi subcounty Butambala district and lastly to find out how reward  system on pupils academic performance in Kibibi subcounty Butambala district. The study was based on a cross sectional survey design, data being collected in the month of October 2022 using questionnaire and interview responses from 108 respondents made of Head teachers, classroom teachers and pupils. The data was eventually analysed using summary statistics and Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. The study established and concluded that there exist a significant positive relationship between pupils’ discipline, leader’s efficacy, management and academic performance. the study therefore recommended that in order to uplift student’s academic performance among Primary schools in Kibibi sub-county, Butambala district discipline of pupils in form of receiving punishment from their teachers, recognition, should be deeply and passionately emphasized. Teachers should extremely and passionately exhibit high efficacy in their skills, abilities and being knowledgeable to what he or she does and this should be done through making a lot of research, attend many workshops and do a lot of readings and lastly, leaders should have a format of reward. She recommend rewards   like promotions, prizes for good performance and discipline and negative rewards like suspension.
